The 2013 Wings Over the Rockies Festival welcomes birders to eastern British Columbia’s Rocky Mountains, May 6th through 12th. The 17th annual festival explores the wetlands, birds and wildlife of the Invermere area with a full week of events and field trips. Paddle the Columbia Wetlands, meander through the Moberly Marshes near Golden, and take a Columbia River canoe trip from Radium Hot Springs to Edgewater.
Cranbrook, in southeastern BC, Kicks off 2013 summer fun at Sam Steele Days, June 13th through 16th. Rotary Park, in downtown Cranbrook, hosts the central fairgrounds and activities.
