Established in 1920, Kootenay National Park preserves a large portion of southeastern British Columbia’s Canadian Rockies and surrounding landscapes.
The park is conveniently located just north of Radium Hot Springs.
The park is open year round, inviting visitors to discover its many natural attractions like Marble Canyon, Hot Springs, and the Paint Pots, with an abundance of recreational activities.
Given its size and undeniable beauty, the park was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984.
