Art Emporium
The Art Emporium of Vancouver is Canada's oldest art gallery. The gallery was open to the public in 1897 and has continued to be a place for artists to gather and display their work since then. It remains to be a key element in Vancouver's art scene. The Art Emporium has also become an art dealer.
After the Emporium was relocated to South Granville, additional buildings were restored to art galleries, to form what is known as Gallery Row.
